OK surpass ALTERNATE at SEC
Online-Kingdom are through to the semifinals at Samsung European Championship 2010 after overcoming Alternate on two maps.
Online-Kingdom started out de_tuscan by gaining a measly 3-1 lead as Terrorists, but as they failed to intrude Bombsite B in the following round, ALTERNATE did not stress when sealing it. This would however turn out to be the only round the Germans would cop for a while, as Online-Kingdom maneuvered the match their way into a 8-2 lead.The next round was clearly inspired by Manuel "approx" Zeitz as he managed to down four contenders, but Online-Kingdom did not lose their cool and continued their stint, now having now problem gaining access to Bombsite B. The first half was ultimately concluded when the scoreboard displayed 12-3 in Online-Kingdom's favor.As the teams swapped sides, ALTERNATE made a run for Bombsite A but were shortly after countered by the Norwegians. Jan "mooN" Stolle took down three in the process, but a tad too late as he could not finish off the job alone.Although securing the first two rounds, Online-Kingdom could not cope with ALTERNATE who had stepped up their game, and had to see the Germans secure six straight rounds. ALTERNATE did however not keep up their pace, and Online-Kingdom sealed the first match at 16-9.Moving on to de_nuke, a thrilling first round saw Online-Kingdom barely being able to hold back ALTERNATE's attack, but was nicely executed when Martin "hellzerk" Solbakken finished it off with a grenade. However, ALTERNATE did want to concede just yet and took the match into another overtime.Now at 18-18, and a second overtime, both teams secured one round each, followed by Online-Kingdom overcoming ALTERNATE for the last one.
